Utpanna Ekadashi Tithi 2023
Utpanna Ekadashi Tithi of Margashirsha month is starting on 8th December 2023 at 05.06 am. It will end on December 9, 2023 at 06:31 am. In such a situation, the fast of Utpanna Ekadashi will be observed on 8th December.
Fast breaking time: Method of Utpana Ekadashi fast on 9 December 2023 from 01:15 pm to 03:20 pm
- On the day of Utpanna Ekadashi, wake up in the morning, resolve to fast and take bath with pure water.
- After this, Lord Vishnu should be worshiped with sixteen things like incense, lamp, naivedya etc. and a lamp should be donated at night.
- On this Ekadashi, hymns and kirtans of Lord Vishnu should be sung at night.
- At the end of the fast, one should ask for forgiveness from Shri Hari Vishnu for any unintentional mistake or sin.
- Next day i.e. on Dwadashi Tithi, Lord Shri Krishna should be worshiped again and food should be offered to the Brahmin.
- After the meal, the Brahmin should be sent off after giving donations as per his capacity.
